Michael J. Wakefield

Michael Wakefield is an estate planning attorney with Creative Planning Legal, P.A. Michael runs the estate planning practice out of the Wakefield Law office in Leesburg - he loves meeting and getting to know his clients. He is a passionate advocate for his clients, and he is committed to providing high-quality, efficient, and effective legal representation. Michael is detail-oriented and works closely with his clients to find creative solutions to complicated problems.

Michael focuses his law practice on estate planning, including the preparation of documents such as Wills, Powers of Attorney, Advance Medical Directives, Transfer on Death Deeds, and Trusts.  He enjoys working with clients to make sure they have a functional, personalized estate plan that will make sure their wishes are followed throughout their lives and after their passing.

Michael graduated from the College of William and Mary with a Bachelor of Arts in Government. Michael graduated Magna Cum Laude from the University of the District of Columbia's David A. Clarke School of Law. Michael is admitted to practice law in Virginia, and he is a member of the Virginia State Bar. Michael lives in Western Loudoun with his wife, three children, and two dogs.
